When fastening the strap, the lashing strap webbing must be passed through the metal buckle's “teeth” from the bottom up.
The material of the ribbon sling is high-quality polyester. This material is semi-waterproof, absorbing very little water to prevent mold.
Strong enough, yet soft enough to produce (sew) buckle straps from it.
